2 2So God created the great sea monsters, all kinds ofcreatures that live in the water, and all kinds of birds.（Genesis 1:20-21）神は言われた。「生き物が水の中に群がれ。鳥は地の上、天の大空の面を飛べ。」神は水に群がるもの、すなわち大きな怪物、うごめく生き物をそれぞれに、また、翼ある鳥をそれぞれに創造された。（創世記1:20-21）6日目大地に大小の家畜や野生動物（domestic and wild, large andsmall）といったあらゆる種類の生き物（all kinds of animal life）を創造しました。Then God commanded, “Let the earth produce allkinds of animal life: domestic and wild, large and small”（Genesis 1:24）神は言われた。「地は、それぞれの生き物を産み出せ。家畜、這うもの、地の獣をそれぞれに産み出せ。」（創世記1:24）そして、それらすべての生き物を支配するために、自分のかたちに似せて「人間」（human beings）をつくりました。Then God said, “And now we will make human beings;they will be like us and resemble us. They will havepower over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domesticand wild, large and small.”
